DO YOU WEAR A HEARING AID AND USE A CELL PHONE?

New laws requre that you use a hands-free device if you are driving and using your cell phone.

The Artone Bluetooth LoopSet enables hearing aid users to avoid the interference from the mobile phone by removing the phone to "safe" distance from the hearing aid.

The Artone Bluetooth LoopSet is on sale at the Hearing and Speech Center Technology Store for $165 (normally $185). This offer is only good until July 30th!

In a time of a call a signal from the mobile phone is wirelessly sent to the Bluetooth LoopSet, it gets processed, cleared and amplified and then sent to the user's hearing aid. The hearing aid processes the signal once again and adjusts it to the user’s personal level. Output signal is cleared by cutting out unnecessary background noises. It is amplified and then the signal sent to the user’s handset.

Unique design enables the hard-of-hearing to use the headset with their hearing aid.

About the Family Communications Program
The Family Communications Program is a counseling program that provides individual guidance, information and support to families of children with hearing loss. We help families understand their educational options and learn about the resources available to them. The first few years are critical to a child with hearing loss. The Family Communications program helps kids get off to a solid start!

If you are interested in participating in the Family Communications Program, please contact Shannon Simonson, at 415-921-7658 x48.
