The Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California is a merger of the Hearing Society for the Bay Area and the San Francisco Hearing and Speech Center. For over half a century, these agencies have served the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing and enhancing speech and language skills.
With complementary programs and a history of cooperation, our agencies fit together naturally.
We now form a comprehensive network of services, including professional audiology, counseling, speech & language therapy, and youth & community education.
The merger brings together a group of dedicated professionals with expertise in a wide spectrum of hearing, speech, and mental health. Our audiologists, speech pathologists, counselors, and educators all have advanced degrees in their chosen fields.
We work to ensure that our clients have the information and technology available to help them fully participate with friends, coworkers, and loved ones. Our agency presents new opportunities for collaboration with community agencies to help us meet our clients’ needs, and to educate the general public on issues relating to hearing loss and speech. |
