We provide educational outreach, guidance, counseling and support for older adults, their families and caregivers. Services include information and referrals to medical and social services, individual counseling, group educational programs for seniors, group support services for seniors, consultation to families and caregivers, and assistive technology education. We also provide education and support to the staff at senior and social service agencies, including group educational programs, assistive technology demonstrations, and accessibility education.
All Senior Program services are available at our main office. Services are also provided in senior centers throughout San Francisco.
We collaborate regularly with the following agencies and programs:
- San Francisco Senior Center at Aquatic Park
- The Institute on Aging
- On Lok Senior Services
- Kimochi Senior Services
- Meals on Wheels
- Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Service emphasis is on seniors who have limited access to information or services.
