Dr. Fatima Sajjadi joined the Hearing and Speech Center in August 2019 after spending her final year of a clinical externship at the Center. She received her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of California Davis and went on to earn her master’s in clinical school counseling at San Jose State University. While working with at-risk youth for two years in the Bay Area, Dr. Sajjadi decided to pursue her degree in audiology. She attended the University of the Pacific, where she earned her doctorate. Dr. Sajjadi’s experience focuses on pediatrics, diverse populations, and individuals with psychological comorbidities. Dr. Sajjadi was born in Iran and moved to the US at a young age. She spent several years of her childhood moving between the mid-west and the Middle East and finally resided in California. As a result of living in different places, her appreciation for working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds and walks of life helped pave her career path. Dr. Sajjadi’s aspires to make the world a better place, through compassionate hearing and listening. Dr. Sajjadi is proficient in Farsi.
