Dr. Kylie McLaughlin graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies from Clemson University. After a two-year hiatus to work at a camp in nowhere, east Texas, she returned to school and received her Doctor of Audiology from Northwestern University. Dr. McLaughlin came to the Hearing and Speech Center in 2016 to complete her externship and is thrilled to have joined the staff as a full-time clinical audiologist. Her clinical interests lay in pediatric and educational audiology, with a focus on addressing the social, emotional, academic and communicative needs of both her patients and their families. Additionally, Dr. McLaughlin is a self-proclaimed hearing conservation enthusiast, with a particular regard for musicians. She shamelessly promotes filtered earplugs at every given opportunity. Dr. McLaughlin is a licensed dispensing audiologist by the state of California and a member of the American Academy of Audiology and National Hearing Conservation Association.
